A Huron County man is still in shock after winning $75,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Wizard of All game online.
“I was at my girlfriend’s house playing the Wizard of All game on my phone,” said the player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I had been playing some of the newer online games, and decided to give an older game a try, so I picked Wizard of All. When I hit $75,000 I was stunned!
“It’s still sinking in,” said the player. “I couldn’t believe it when I won, and neither could my girlfriend. When I showed her the game on my phone, she just kept saying: ‘That’s not real!’”
The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters on Tuesday to claim his big prize. He plans to use his winnings for a down payment on a new home.
“I enjoy playing the Lottery’s online games because they are entertaining and I don’t have to go to the casino to win money. It’s nice to know that the prizes you see out there are real,” the player said.
Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win up to $500,000 instantly playing online.
