The Michigan Lottery is celebrating a Saginaw County woman’s big online win with a special free play offer today.
Nichol Evans, 30, won $60,000 playing the Lottery’s Queen of Diamonds online game. The Lottery is celebrating by offering five free Queen of Diamonds games to all new online players who use the promo code QUEEN when they sign up for a new account. “I was taking a break at work when I started playing the Queen of Diamonds game on my iPhone,” said Evans. “When I saw the message pop-up on the screen that I had won $60,000 I took a screenshot just to make sure I was reading everything right.”
Evans quickly ran to her boss’s office to share the good news.
“When I ran into my boss’s office he probably thought I was crazy, but when I showed him my phone he couldn’t believe I had won either,” said Evans. “Next, I called my husband and he already had the money spent as soon as I told him I had won.”
Evans recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim her big prize. With her winnings, she plans to pay off her students loans and give her family a great Christmas.
“I enjoy playing online because it’s easy and fun,” said Evans. “This is the second big prize I’ve won playing Queen of Diamonds. Just about a month ago I won $20,000. I hope the game is around for a long time!”
Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win up to $500,000 instantly playing online.
