Winning $300,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Super Bingo instant game has a Davison woman eyeing retirement.
Cathy Lemon, 60, scratched her winning Super Bingo ticket in her car after buying it at the Marathon gas station, located at 1138 North Belsay Road in Burton.
Lemon visited Lottery headquarters Friday to claim her big prize. She said winning $300,000 will help her retire sooner than she planned. She also is planning to pay off her debt and buy a new car.
Players have won more than $7.8 million playing Super Bingo which launched in December. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $13.4 million in prizes remain, including three $300,000 prizes, eight $10,000 prizes, and 28 $1,000 prizes.
