Winning a $283,791 Fantasy 5 jackpot left a Tuscola County woman feeling “numb and in disbelief.”

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, won the big prize with a ticket she bought at the Kroger gas station, located at 2910 Center Avenue in Essexville. Her ticket matched the winning numbers drawn Thursday night: 01-12-33-34-36.

The player learned she was a jackpot winner Friday afternoon when she checked her ticket at another store. After the shock of winning wore off, the player drove directly to Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim her prize.

The player plans to pay off her mortgage with her big winnings.
