A Monroe County woman was all smiles after winning $2 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s Mega Money Multiplier instant game.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket at Lee’s Market, located at 8593 Swan Creek Road in Newport.

The player choose to take her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.3 million rather than an annuity. With her winnings, the player plans to pay some bills and put the remainder into a savings account.

Players have won more than $50 million playing Mega Money Multiplier, which launched in December. Each $20 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $2 million. More than $24.7 million in prizes remain, including 22 $5,000 prizes, and 150 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
