The celebration has started for the members of a Dearborn Heights lottery club that won $1 million playing the $50,000,000 Celebration from the Michigan Lottery.

The club members, who chose to remain anonymous, bought their lucky instant game ticket at Tobacco Stars, located at 215 Middlebelt Road in Garden City.

The club members visited Lottery headquarters this week to claim their big prize. They chose to receive their winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $735,492.

For $20 per ticket, $50,000,000 Celebration gives players a chance to win cash prizes ranging from $20 to $1,000,000. Two of the game’s $1 million top prizes remain, along with 27 $5,000 prizes and 111 $1,000 prizes. The $50,000,000 Celebration game launched in August 2013.

Tickets for $50,000,000 Celebration, and other Lottery instant games may be purchased at retailers across the state.
