Nov. 11 could be a big day for the Michigan Lottery’s Daily 4 players. Lottery officials expect strong player interest in playing the numbers 1-1-1-1 for both Daily 4 drawings on Tuesday, Nov. 11, or 11-11.

If 1-1-1-1 is drawn as the winning Daily 4 number on Tuesday, it would mark the second time in 2014 players have cashed in big on the number. On July 26, nearly 3,700 Lottery players won $5,000 apiece after the number was drawn. In total, the huge Daily 4 payout amounted to nearly $18.4 million.

Players who are interested in buying a Daily 4 ticket with the number 1-1-1-1 are encouraged to do so early. The number will won’t be available for purchase once the total payout liability reaches $40 million for each drawing. The number of 1-1-1-1 Daily 4 tickets available for the midday and evening drawings will vary based upon how players choose to wager.

There are five ways to play the Daily 4: straight, boxed, two-way, wheeled and 1-Off. Prize amounts vary based on the way a number is played, and on the order in which the winning numbers are drawn. Players may select a four-digit number, or choose an easy pick ticket. There are two Daily 4 drawings a day, seven days a week, at 12:59 p.m. and 7:29 p.m. Each play is $1.
