The Michigan Lottery will join the fun at the Downtown Hoedown in Detroit this weekend with tickets and opportunities for players to win cash prizes and Lottery merchandise.
The Lottery’s Mobile Retail Outlet will be located near the Ram Test Drive display between Montcalm and Columbia streets in front of Comerica Park. The mobile outlet will be available throughout the event, which begins at 5 p.m. Friday and runs through 11 p.m. Sunday.
At the Lottery’s mobile outlet, festival goers will be able to buy tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto 47 and other draw games plus pull tabs and instant game tickets. Players who buy $10 worth of Lottery tickets get to play the “spin to win” game with chances to win Lottery merchandise.
Downtown Hoedown sponsor Detroit’s Best Country WYCD-FM also will be awarding Cash for Life instant tickets to lucky festival attendees throughout the weekend. The station will be giving away $2 and $5 Cash for Life tickets that give players a chance to win $800 or $2,000 a week for life.
Grills Gone Wild®, Red Hot Bingo, and Sizzling 7’s are the newest Michigan Lottery instant tickets and will be for sale at the event. Grills Gone Wild® and Red Hot Bingo games are $2 tickets that offer top prizes of $30,000. The Sizzling 7’s game is a $5 ticket and has top prizes of up to $300,000. These new games are also part of the Summer Sizzler promotion.
The Summer Sizzler is a second chance contest that offers players opportunities to win Omaha Steaks® gift cards, outdoors prize packages, and $30,000. Entries for the contest only will be accepted at http://www.MichiganLottery.com/Sizzler. Entries may be submitted through July 28.
