Launched less than three months ago, Poker Lotto – the Michigan Lottery’s newest draw game – already has made four Michiganders $100,000 richer.
Poker Lotto players have been on a hot streak with three of the four $100,000 top prizes won in a 10-day period. The latest winners came in the Jan. 4 and Jan. 7 drawings. The streak began with a $100,000 winner in the Dec. 29 drawing.
The $100,000 Poker Lotto winners were:
- Gibran Cobb of Detroit. Cobb’s ticket purchased was at Matthews Food Liquor & Wine in Detroit.
- Lona Miller of Chase. Miller bought her winning ticket at Reed City E-Z Mart in Reed City.
- Ricky Smith of Roseville. D Brothers Party Store of Roseville sold this winning ticket.
- Claimant of the Jan. 7 drawing wished to remain anonymous. This ticket came from Big Ten Holt Party Store in Holt.
Each of the above listed Michigan Lottery retailers is entitled to a two percent redemption commission once the ticket has been redeemed by the winner. In this case the commission for each retailer is $2,000.
