The lucky streak continues for one Barryton resident.
Joseph Palmarchuk moved to Michigan in 2011. Six months after moving he received a call saying he won $1,000,000 in the Tennessee 2nd chance game. At the time of the win Mr. Palmarchuk predicted that he would have another large win in his future.
Two years later his prediction proved correct! Palmarchuk achieved millionaire status again by winning the $1,350,000 Classic Lotto 47 jackpot drawing on November 6, 2013.
Palmarchuk and his wife, Phillis, are planning to purchase a condo somewhere warm to avoid Michigan winters. The couple completed their bucket list with Palmerchuk’s previous one million dollar win. The couple also helped out their seven children, 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The Palmarchuks are avid players of Lottery games and regulars at casinos. Palmarchuk is known for purchasing tickets that are “mistakes” so that retailers do not have to worry about having tickets no one will buy. He attributes karma as the reason for winning.
“You never know how your Karma is going to present itself.” said Palmarchuk, as his karma is clearly presenting itself in the form of Lottery wins.
Palmarchuk predicts another win in the next year, although not another million. He expects his next win to be a little more modest; however, he predicts he will win the Powerball or Mega Millions in the next three years.
