One lucky player instantly won $5,000 with the Michigan Lottery’s newest game Poker Lotto!

Poker Lotto offers two games in one.  Players are randomly dealt five cards.  If those cards form a winning hand, the player wins instantly!  Win or lose, every ticket is also eligible for the next nightly drawing.  If two of more of a player’s cards match the cards drawn that night, the player wins!

Prizes for the instant game are based on the strength of the hand received.  The strongest hand is a Royal Flush, which consists of a Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit.  If a player is dealt this hand, he or she wins $ 5,000 instantly.

Yesterday, one lucky player received a Royal Flush and won $5,000 instantly!  The winning ticket was sold at the Admiral Petroleum #161 located at 4315 Chicago Dr. in Grandville.

This is the second $5,000 instant prize awarded since Poker Lotto debuted on October 19, 2013.  The first Poker Lotto Royal Flush was dealt to a lucky player on October 25, 2013, at BG’s Party Store in Burton.
