Play It Again entries to require fewer points

Play It AgainMichigan Lottery players will soon need fewer reward points to participate in the popular Play It Again drawings for a chance at a prize of $1 million, meaning they can earn more entries!

Beginning August 3, players will need to redeem points they have accumulated in their Player’s Club account for entries into Play It Again, rather than earning automatic entries. They can simply log on to their account then go to the Rewards and Prizes catalog and select the Play It Again $1 million Giveaway option. With just 10 reward points, rather than the previous 40 points, players can earn one entry into the drawing! Players can enter as often as their point totals allow.

Reward points accumulated by any means, including those earned by using the Lottery’s new WonCard, can be redeemed for Play It Again entries.

Each entry submitted after August 2 will be part of the Play It Again finalist drawing that will occur in late summer 2014. From the finalists selected, one player will win the $1 million!

The change will not affect the number of points a player has accumulated and deadlines for using those points.
