The winning $5 Cash for Life ticket entitles the winner to $2,000 a week for life or a one-time cash payment option of $2,214,211 (less applicable taxes). An anonymous winner chose the one-time cash payment for the prize, which was claimed at Lottery Headquarters on May 28.
On May 2, a winner who wishes to remain anonymous claimed $800 a week for life from the $2 Cash for Life ticket (IG# 645). The first annuity payment of $41,600 (less applicable taxes) was presented to this lucky Lottery player, who purchased the winning ticket at Harper Creek Shell, located 7586 B Dr. North in Battle Creek.
The Cash for Life family of games was reintroduced to Michigan Lottery players on April 2 with more top prizes at each level.
- The $1 ticket offers four top prizes of $400 a week for life, none of which have been claimed yet;
- The $2 game, which originally had four top prizes of $800 a week for life, has three top prizes still unclaimed after the May 2 win.
