The 57-year-old factory worker had been vacationing with his family in Michigan. “I always play the Michigan Lottery when I come to visit, since we don’t have a lottery in Mississippi,” he said. He had left Michigan and was home for just one day when his son phoned to tell him he had won the Fantasy 5 jackpot.
The player intends to use the money to purchase a car, do some home remodeling, give gifts to his three children and make some investments.
The winning ticket was sold at East Paris Discount Liquor located at 2871 E. Paris SE in Kentwood.
