There’s a happy resident in Holt today! Who wouldn’t be after winning a $110,000
jackpot in the Michigan Lottery’s Fantasy 5 drawing!
The winner, who doesn’t wish to reveal her identity, bought Lottery tickets at the same 7-Eleven store for the past 18 years, and on October 12, it finally paid off.
She will use a portion of the money to do what most of us only dream of, pay off debts! She has decided to put the rest away for retirement.
The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven 028E located at 1997 Aurelius Rd. in Holt.
In fiscal year 2012, the Lottery’s contribution to schools was approx. $770 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $17 billion to education in Michigan.
