‘Mum’s the word’ for Fantasy 5 player who won $110,000!

Fantasy 5A housewife from Inkster was watching the nightly Lottery drawing on TV when her numbers came up. She knew immediately that she was a winner because she memorized her numbers five years ago when she first began playing Fantasy 5.

The lucky player, who wishes to remain anonymous, has not told anyone about winning the $110,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot drawn on July 24 except her financial planner. “I’m not telling family, they talk too much!” she stated.

She hasn’t decided yet what she will do with the bulk of her money. “I will use it to pay some debts and put the rest in the bank,” she said.

The winning ticket was sold at Andrews Liquor located at 29444 Cherry Hill Rd. in Garden City.

This player is the second Fantasy 5 winner from Inkster in the past two months. In the month of July a total of 9 players won more than $1.5 million playing Fantasy 5!

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
