An anonymous player claimed his $338,677 Fantasy 5 prize after matching all five numbers for the drawing on March 13.

The lucky winner plans to “slightly spoil” his wife and four children with his fortune, which he says was once just a fantasy. He then plans on putting most of his new-found wealth into savings to help him successfully achieve an earlier retirement.

The winning ticket was sold by 7-Eleven 098H located at 10400 S Clare Ave. in Clare.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
