It’s time once again for the Michigan Lottery’s game show Make Me Rich! The next show will air on Thursday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. Nine contestants will participate in the chance to win whopping cash prizes.Two lucky winners will walk away $500,000 richer, one will leave as a millionaire!  

There will also be a chance for viewers to get in on the fun by texting in to win one of five $1,000 prizes.  

Since Make Me Rich! first aired in 2009, the show has given away more than $25 million, along with two cars and a motorcycle. In addition, 35 home viewers have each won $1,000 playing text in to win.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
