Mega Millions prize claimed

LANSING, January 21, 2009 – Leroy Call of Fraser is a lucky Mega Millions player! He matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the December 23, 2008 drawing and won $10,000!

The long-time Lottery player learned of his good fortune from the newspaper and double checked his winnings by calling the Lottery. He hid the ticket in a safe prior to cashing it at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office and plans to pay bills with the prize money.

The lucky winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 13432, 15270 E. 14 Mile Rd., in Fraser.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
