LANSING, January 21, 2009 – A very lucky Wyandotte man won two different times on the same Mega Millions ticket and won $10,150! Lawrence Johnson matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball on one line and three white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball on another line to win the prize.
The 54-year-old regular Lottery player was “happy” with his win. He randomly selected his own numbers and has no specific plans for the prize money.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Wyandotte Sunoco Inc., 1730 Ford Ave., in Wyandotte.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
