LANSING, July 20, 2007 – A very lucky anonymous couple claimed the largest Classic Lotto 47 jackpot in the history of the game – a whopping $12,624,787!

The fortunate couple matched all six numbers in the July 4 drawing.  The winning numbers were 15 21 32 37 38 and 43.

The own-pick winning ticket was purchased at the Oak Barrel Party Shop, 2515 S. Lapeer Rd., in Orion.

Classic Lotto 47 drawings are conducted at 7:29 pm every Wednesday and Saturday night.  Jackpots start at $1 million and grow by at least $100,000 each drawing.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
