LANSING, July 20, 2007 – Susan Bawol is a very lucky Oakland Twp. woman!  She matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the July 13 drawing to win a $10,000 prize!

Bawol checked her easy pick Mega Millions numbers on the Lottery’s Web site and discovered she had won a third-tier prize!  She plans to put her winnings in her savings and decide what to do with it at a later date.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Max Liquor and Wine Shop, 51071 Mound Rd., in Shelby Twp.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
