Third Millionaire Raffle numbers drawn

LANSING, July 11, 2007 – Six lucky people are now millionaires following the Michigan Lottery’s third Millionaire Raffle drawing this morning.

The six winning $1 million Millionaire Raffle tickets were sold at the Log Cabin Grocery in Akron; Polly’s in Jackson; Meijer in Waterford; Corey’s Restaurant and Lounge in Lansing; Cairns Family Market in Coleman and Cheech Chicken in Detroit.

In addition to the six $1 million winners, 12 tickets worth $100,000 were sold at the Railside Bar and Grill in Elmira; Bucks Party Store in Negaunee; Rellis in DeWitt; Vics Market in Vassar; Hayes Market in Southfield; West Michigan C-Store in Battle Creek; Harding’s Friendly Market in Berrien Springs; The Patio in Muskegon; Dashmesh One in Lansing; Kellys Express Mart in Jackson; Bull Frog’s Bar & Grill in Ortonville; and Super One Foods in Escanaba.

Another 2,000 lucky winners will receive prizes of $500 each.

“Thanks to all who played the Millionaire Raffle and congratulations to all our 2,018 lucky winners,” Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters said.  “Thanks to all who played the Millionaire Raffle!”

All winning numbers are available on the Lottery’s Web site at https://www.michiganlottery.com/.  Players can also check their winning tickets at any Michigan Lottery retailer or Lottery regional office.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
