LANSING, July 5, 2007 – A Chesaning man is $10,000 richer after scratching a winning Lucky Stars Instant ticket.

Dallas Sabo, who has played the Lottery for 10 years, said the ticket was “glued to his hand” until he claimed his prize.

He plans to use the prize money to pay bills and buy a car.

The winning ticket was purchased at Possum’s Party Store, 4007 Peet Rd., in Chesaning.

Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
