LANSING, July 5, 2007 – A Bloomfield Hills man won $10,000 instantly when he scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book ticket.
Joe Karmo, who owns Ronnie’s Liquor, said he was “excited” to win.
He plans to use the prize money to pay bills. The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Ronnie’s Liquor Spot, 22715 Fenkell St., in Detroit.
$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
