LANSING, June 21, 2007 – June 15 was a lucky day for a very happy Grand Haven man!  He scratched a winning Cashword Instant ticket to win $35,000!

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he plans to use the prize money to pay bills and buy a car.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Southtown Market, 15191 168th Ave., in Grand Haven.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
