LANSING, June 6, 2007 – Donald Daughtry of Armada cashed in a huge $10,000 prize after scratching a $10,000,000 Game Book instant ticket!

Daughtry told Lottery officials that he was in “denial” after the win.  The regular Lottery player hid the ticket in his glove box prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.  He plans to use the prize money to pay bills, take a vacation and purchase a new dirt bike.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Donut Port, 24524 John R Rd., in Hazel Park.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
