Midland man claims big bucks

LANSING, May 30, 2007 – A very lucky Club Keno player walked away with $10,010 after he won big on May 14.

Scott Dexter said he has played the same numbers for two years and this time they paid off.  He hid the ticket in his wallet before claiming his prize at the Lottery office in Saginaw.

The winner purchased the winning ticket at Duel Bar, 2471 W. Parish Rd., in Midland.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
