South Lyon player cashes in

LANSING, May 30, 2007 – A lucky Club Keno player is a little richer after he matched all six numbers in a 6-Spot game on May 20.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, cashed in a ticket worth $11,000.  The usually payout for matching six numbers on a 6-Spot game is $1,100, but the player wagered $5 per draw and with the 2X Kicker, really multiplied his prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at The South Lyon Hotel, 201 N. Lafayette, in South Lyon.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
