LANSING, March 19, 2007 – A very lucky Roseville woman won $10,000 when she scratched a winning $300,000 Texas Hold ‘Em Instant ticket.

Mary Tobian said she’s been playing the Lottery for about 15 years and this is her largest win to date.  She “couldn’t believe it” when she checked and recheck her ticket.

The lucky winner plans to use the prize money to pay bills.  In her free time she enjoys reading and playing BINGO.

The winning ticket was purchased at Paul’s 9 & 10 Market, Inc., 24404 Gratiot Ave., in Eastpointe.

$300,000 Texas Hold ‘Em is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
