LANSING, October 11, 2006 – Lori Marchetti’s husband, Dominic, has always said his wife is lucky with numbers.  She was especially lucky on the night of Oct. 8 when she matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers and won the $110,000 jackpot!

Although Marchetti has been playing for “years,” this is her first big win to date.  Upon learning of her good fortune from the news on TV, she screamed with delight and couldn’t believe her luck.  She and her husband plan to use the money to invest, share with family and splurge on a few special items.

The lucky winning own pick ticket was purchased at CVS/ Pharmacy, 79600 Cooley Lake Rd., in Waterford.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
