LANSING, September 13, 2006 – Robert Bouchard is a very lucky regular Lottery player. On top of winning $3,000 several times over the years, he has now hit for a whopping $250,000!
Bouchard, a Trout Lake resident, matched four white ball numbers and the Mega ball on the Sept. 8 Mega Millions drawing.
He couldn’t believe his good fortune when he discovered he had a winning ticket. He plans to use some of his prize money to pay bills. In his free time, Bouchard enjoys golfing.
The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Trout Lake IGA, 31574 W. Front St., in Trout Lake.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 10,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
