LANSING, May 25, 2006 – Erica Crawford is $10,000 richer today after she scratched the prize from a Twice Lucky Instant game.

The 19-year-old Goodrich woman hid the winning ticket is a safe in her basement before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.  She plans to take a vacation with a portion of her prize money.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Dandy Oil Inc., 5465 Sashabaw Rd., in Clarkston.

Twice Lucky is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
