LANSING, May 17, 2006 – A very lucky regular Instant ticket player won an astonishing $30,000 after scratching a Wild Time Tripler ticket.

Patricia Alexiou from Warren hid the winning ticket in her bed before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.  Alexiou has no immediate plans for her prize money.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Forward #10 Standish, 201 S. Main St., in Standish.

Wild Time Tripler is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
