LANSING, May 12, 2006 – A very lucky Westland man is $200,000 richer!  He scratched a winning Sizzling 6’s Instant ticket and cashed in on the big prize.

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, said he “couldn’t believe it” when he scratched the winning ticket.  He plans to give some of the prize money to his kids and save the rest for retirement.

The longtime Lottery player purchased the winning ticket at Tobacco Plus, 1663 S. Merriman Rd., in Westland.

Sizzling 6’s is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
