LANSING, May 10, 2006 – Victoria Prieto is a very lucky lady!  She scratched her way to $35,000 with a winning Cashword Instant ticket.

Prieto said she plans to buy a car and help her family with her prize money.

She was “screaming and jumping” when she realized her ticket was a big winner. 

The lucky ticket was purchased at People’s Market, 700 Auburn Ave., in Pontiac.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
