Winner claims big money

LANSING, April 26, 2006 – A very lucky player won $15,000 when he scratched a winning Mother’s Day Instant ticket.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, said she plans to use the money to help her church and split between her children.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Bueche’s Food World II, 400 N. Ortonville Rd., in Ortonville.

Mother’s Day is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
