LANSING, November 6, 2002 – – A White Lake man hit the jackpot upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Casino Wild" instant ticket to reveal a $100,000 top prize!

"When I scratched off the ticket and saw the amount I had won, I was afraid to scratch off the rest of the ticket," the winner exclaimed. "I immediately had the clerk double-check the winning ticket for me. After that, I went straight home and called my sister to tell her the good news!"

The lucky winner, who requested anonymity, purchased the winning ticket at Mobil of White Lake, 10580 Highland Road, in White Lake.

The winner said he asked his brother to lock up the winning ticket to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing. The winner, who said he enjoys golfing in his spare time, plans to use his winnings to purchase a truck and to make a down payment on a house.
