"Check your wallet, car, and desk drawers for old Michigan Lottery Big Game tickets," said Acting Michigan Lottery Commissioner James Kipp. " A lucky Lottery player is sitting on a winning ticket but doesn’t know it. I urge you to take a couple minutes this weekend to check your old Big Game tickets."
Michigan Lottery players have one year from the draw date to claim any on-line prizes. Because the one-year anniversary for the drawing date of this ticket falls on a Saturday when Lottery offices are closed, the holder of this lucky ticket will have until the close of business, Monday, October 14, 2002 to claim his or her prize.
If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state
School Aid Fund, which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in the state of Michigan. For more information about unclaimed Michigan Lottery prizes, players can call (517) 335-5640.
