Larry Douglas of Romulus Wins $10,000 Prize in Lottery's "Bingo Mania" Instant Game!

LANSING, July 29, 2002 – Larry Douglas of Romulus recently spelled his way to instant wealth with the Michigan Lottery’s "Bingo Mania" instant game! Upon scratching off the ticket he revealed a $10,000 prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at Marathon, 27350 Eureka Road, in Taylor.

"I was shocked when I scratched off the ticket and saw I had won $10,000," Douglas said.

The 49-year-old winner, who enjoys skiing and watching NASCAR racing in his free time, said he kept the ticket in his pocket at all times to ensure his safety before turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights.

Douglas, a millwright for Ford Motor Company in Wixom, said he has no special plans for his winnings at this time, but there is no doubt he will enjoy his recent good fortune!
