The winning "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Cudas East, 14306 Michigan Ave., in Dearborn.
In total for the March 26 drawing, 23,770 winners shared $73,363 in prizes. In addition to the sole jackpot winner, 114 winners matched four numbers to win a $77 prize; 2,412 matched three numbers to win a $9 prize; and 21,243 matched two numbers to win $1.
"I was amazed when I saw the winning numbers on television and realized I had won," the winner said.
The lucky 70-year-old, a pipefitter at Ford Motor Company who requested anonymity, said he kept the winning ticket locked in a safe prior to claiming his prize at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights. He added that he enjoys fishing in his free time, and that he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
