LANSING, April 20, 2000 — The Michigan Lottery has completed the third drawing in its current Daily 3 & 4 second-chance sweepstakes and the winners are turning up in all parts of the state!
Top winners include:
Robert Henke Jr. of Bergland — $10,000
Teresa Lamarr of Grand Rapids — $5,000
Robert Ryniak of Clinton Township— $5,000
Throughout the Daily 3 & 4 "booKoo Cash" promotion, the Lottery will award each week for four weeks one grand prize of $10,000; two second prizes of $5,000; 25 third prizes of $1,500; and 100 fourth prizes of a Daily 3 & 4 baseball cap. Lottery officials were able to speak to all three top-prize winners after the drawing.
"No kidding!" screamed Bergland resident Robert Henke Jr., after he learned of his $10,000 win. "I can’t believe it. I am very surprised to have won!"
Henke, 44, has been a regular Michigan Lottery player for the past five years. He said he doesn’t yet know what he will do with his winnings, but he will "put it to good use!"
Henke’s winning entry included Daily 3 & 4 tickets purchased at Nordine Bergland Inc., 203 Elm, in Bergland.
Robert Ryniak of Clinton Township expressed similar sentiments when Lottery officials told him he was a $5,000 second-prize winner.
"Come on, you’re kidding, right?" exclaimed Ryniak. "This is wonderful! I have never won anything over a dollar in my life. I am very excited and amazed that I won. You have made me a very, very happy man!"
Ryniak’s winning entry included Daily 3 & 4 tickets purchased at Diamond Dot Party Store, 20520 15 Mile Road, in Clinton Township.
Teresa Lamarr’s winning entry included Daily 3 & 4 tickets purchased at Bottle House, 2208 S. Division Ave., in Grand Rapids and John White Amoco, 1 Hall St. NW, in Grand Rapids.
In addition to the three cash prizes mentioned above, the Lottery gave away 25 $1,500 cash prizes to these "booKoo Cash" third-place winners:

To enter the Daily 3 & 4 "booKoo Cash" second-chance sweepstakes, players send in two non-winning Daily 3 or 4 mid-day tickets and two non-winning Daily 3 or 4 evening tickets (in any combination) for any drawing between March 27, 2000 and April 22, 2000, along with their name, address and daytime telephone number on a separate sheet of paper to:

Players may enter as many times as they like, but entries must be limited to one entry per envelope. Players may also drop off entries at any of the Lottery’s regional offices, or participating newspapers and radio stations.
The one remaining "booKoo Cash" drawing will be held on May 3. Grand- and second-prize winners will be announced during the broadcast of the Michigan Lottery’s "Road to Riches" weekly television game show.
