LANSING, February 4, 2000 — An Okemos man had an extra reason to celebrate this past Super Bowl Sunday. Prior to attending a Super Bowl party at a friend’s house, the lucky man scratched off a Michigan Lottery "Millennium Millions" ticket to reveal he had won a $100,000 prize.

The 53-year-old winner, who requested anonymity, said he was shocked when he looked at the winning ticket because it came just 5
