LANSING, October 26, 1999 — A St. Louis woman never thought the Michigan Lottery “Casino Fortune” instant ticket she bought while shopping with a friend would actually be a big winner. Upon scratching off the lucky ticket, however, she revealed one of the game’s $100,000 prizes!

“It was a spur of the moment purchase,” said the winner, who requested anonymity. “I was shopping with a friend and she bought a ticket so I decided to buy one too. I didn’t scratch the ticket off until I got home, but when I did I was completely shocked and surprised by what I saw!”

An occasional Michigan Lottery instant game player for the past 10 years, the St. Louis woman said she plans to us her winnings to pay bills.

The lucky lady purchased the winning “Casino Fortune” ticket at St. Louis Total, 220 W. Washington Street, in St. Louis.
