LANSING, February 23, 1999 – Sharon Scott of Detroit recently experienced a little taste of Lottery luck when she won the $27,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s "Super 7’s Bingo" instant game!

The 48-year-old winner purchased the winning ticket at Babbies Market, 19300 Schoolcraft, in Detroit.

"I had to look at the ticket a few times before I believed I had really won," Scott said.  "It was completely unbelievable!  I just kept looking at the ticket over and over again!"

Scott said she is an occasional Lottery player who only tries her luck with the instant games.  Prior to turning the winning ticket in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights, Scott said she "sat on it all night" to keep it safe.

The Detroit woman, who enjoys bowling and reading in her free time, said she doesn’t have any special plans for her winnings.  Scott said she "hasn’t really given it any thought yet!"
