Clinton Township Resident Wins Top Prize In Lottery's "Cash For Life" Instant Game!

LANSING, September 23, 1998 – A Clinton Township man recently got the best surprise of his life when he discovered that the $3 he spent on an instant lottery ticket brought him $1,000 a week for life!

The recent winner of the Michigan Lottery’s "Cash For Life" instant game, who chose to remain anonymous, is a 33-year-old self-employed individual who has played the Michigan lottery for the past 10 years.  When he scratched off the instant ticket to reveal "Cash for Life" three times, he said he couldn’t believe he had actually won.

"I scratched off my ticket at home and told my wife ‘We won! We won!’" the winner said.  "My wife thought I was kidding when I said we had won ‘cash for life.’"

The winner purchased his lucky ticket at D Brothers Party Store #4, 20101 Carlier St., in Clinton Township.  He had only one plan for his winnings: invest for early retirement!

Michigan Lottery instant tickets are available at more than 9,300 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
