LANSING, May 7, 1998 – Jane Weiss of Lansing had to take a second look at her Lottery ticket when she discovered it matched the first five numbers in a Big Game drawing to win the $150,000 prize!

The 53-year-old secretary was still amazed at the size of her prize when she came to Michigan Lottery headquarters to collect her winnings.  The winning numbers in the April 24 Big Game drawing were: 15, 17, 20, 25, 29, and the Big Money Ball number was 21.

"My husband was just waking up Saturday morning when he checked the winning numbers in the Lansing State Journal," Weiss said.  "At first, he thought we only matched three numbers, then he realized we had all five!  I asked, ‘Did I read that right?  All those zeroes?’"

Weiss said she and her husband will use their winnings to take a trip to Ireland, make home improvements, make investments, and share the rest with their family.

The winning Big Game "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Debbie’s Snack Shop, 430 W. Allegan Street, in Lansing.

The Big Game drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
