LANSING, May 5, 1998 – Mark Drake of Otsego really hit it big this year – he matched the first five numbers in a Big Game drawing to win the $150,000 prize!

When he came to Michigan Lottery headquarters to collect his prize from the March 24 drawing, Drake, a 35-year-old building contractor, said this was his second Big Game win.  He had previously claimed a $150 prize.  The winning numbers in the March 24 Big Game drawing were: 15, 16, 27, 36, 45, and the Big Money Ball number was 1.

"My wife, Beth, always teased me for buying tickets, but she swears she won’t tease me anymore!" said Drake.

Drake, a regular Michigan Lottery player, plans to use his winnings to buy "a good used truck," a camper and a computer for his 5-year-old son.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and camping in his spare time.

The winning Big Game "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Clark #2144, 1329 M 89, in Plainwell.

The Big Game drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Tonight’s (May 5) Big Game jackpot is estimated at $26 million.
