LANSING, April 13, 1998 – When Elaine Eggleston of Marcellus discovered she was a top Michigan Lottery winner, it took her breath away – she matched the first five numbers in The Big Game to win the $150,000 prize!

Eggleston, a regular Michigan Lottery player, was still in disbelief when she came to Lottery headquarters to collect her prize from the February 24 drawing.  That day’s winning numbers were: 2, 11, 40, 42, 48, and the Big Money Ball number was 14.

"When I found out my ticket was a winner, I got so excited I couldn’t breathe," said Eggleston.

Eggleston said she and her husband, Olin, plan to use their Big Game winnings to build a house and make investments.

The winning Big Game "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Yummies Incorporated, 52990 M-40, in Marcellus.

The Big Game drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
