Wayne Man Wins $1,000 A Week For Life In Michigan Lottery's "Cash For Life" Instant Game!

LANSING, November 24, 1997 – Every day will be "payday" for one lucky Wayne man – he’s the latest winner of the top prize in the "Cash For Life" instant game – $1,000 a week for life!

"It was payday and I had purchased a few "Cash for Life" tickets and won $45," said the winner.  "I bought a few more of the tickets and had a $3 winner.  I turned it in for one more ticket and decided that would be my winning ticket.  I scratched it off and couldn’t believe it was the top prize!"

The 34-year-old winner, who requested anonymity, received his first annual installment of $52,000, before taxes.  He said he’ll take some time to plan how to use his winnings, but may purchase a new car.

A regular Michigan Lottery player for five years, he purchased the winning ticket at Bai Lynn Party Store, 13950 Merriman Road, in Livonia.  This is the third top ticket sold at Bai Lynn in a year; it previously sold $150,000 winning Big Game tickets for the drawings on November 22, 1996, and September 26, 1997!

"Cash For Life" is one of the many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
